Content & Engagement Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Content & Engagement Manager to support and execute integrated marketing programs that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement within a B2B environment. This role blends digital marketing execution with event planning and management, ensuring a cohesive experience across online and in-person touchpoints.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with social media, digital campaigns, and trade shows or industry events, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Write compelling, audience-focused content for websites, social media, blogs, email campaigns, and other marketing platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering and product teams to ensure brand messaging is consistent and impactful.
  • Conduct research to understand target audiences, trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Maintain and evolve the editorial calendar aligned with strategic initiatives and campaign timelines.

Graphic Design & Visual Communication

  • Design digital and print collateral including social graphics, infographics, brochures, advertisements, and trade show materials.
  • Create brand-consistent visuals that reflect identity standards and campaign goals.
  • Video creation (short videos, product videos, reels, other social content, etc.)
  • Implement a strategic approach to growing YouTube content and followers.
  • Support the creation of internal and external presentations and sales tools.
  • Catalog page creation and edits, in coordination with the engineering team

Digital Marketing Support

  • Create optimized content for SEO, paid media, and social platforms.
  • Assist in website content and graphic updates, including layout enhancements.
  • Help craft and optimize email campaigns using platforms like Constant Contact and Active Campaign.

Events & Trade Shows

  • Trade show, conferences, webinars, and customer event support
  • Support pre- and post-event marketing efforts, including promotions, email campaigns, and lead follow-up
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all events

Collaboration & Project Management

  • Work closely with VP Marketing & Communications, Director of PR & Communications, engineering, vendors and other stakeholders to understand creative needs and project goals.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for campaign themes, visuals, and formats.

Brand Stewardship

  • Ensure all communications are consistent with brand voice, tone, and visual identity.
  • Proactively propose updates to design templates and messaging to enhance brand cohesion and impact.
  • Perform regular audits of marketing materials to maintain consistency and relevance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant content creation and design experience.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms.
  • Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with WordPress and email marketing tools such as Constant Contact and Active Campaign.
  • Knowledge of video editing and basic animation is a plus.
  • Electrical industry experience is a bonus but not required.

Work Environment:

  • Remote
  • Some travel required (up to 25%) for trade shows, team meetings, or content production needs.

Director of Project Management

The Director of Project Management– Power Equipment will be responsible for overseeing and managing the full project lifecycle of power equipment Projects. This role will focus on project execution, milestone tracking, financial milestone tracking, logistics coordination, risk mitigation, supplier & customer communication. The director will also implement best practices for project tracking, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in managing orders.

This is a high-visibility role within AWG’s expanding power equipment division, requiring strong vendor management, logistics, and project coordination expertise.

 

Core Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

  • Manage active power equipment projects, ensuring on-time delivery and smooth execution.
  • Act as the primary liaison between vendors, customers, and internal teams, ensuring alignment on project milestones.
  • Oversee procurement and purchase orders related to transformers, switchgear, and key power equipment.
  • Ensure all project activities are executed in compliance with contract terms, technical requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Monitor supply chain risks and address issues proactively, ensuring business continuity.

Vendor & Customer Engagement

  • Maintain strong vendor relationships, optimizing supply chain efficiency and negotiating terms when needed.
  • Work closely with sales) and engineering teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to execution.
  • Serve as the point of contact for customer project status updates, managing expectations and resolving concerns.

Financial & Risk Management

  • Monitor project budgets, payment terms, and milestone-based invoicing for large equipment orders.
  • Mitigate risks associated with long lead times, logistics, and procurement challenges.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery commitments.

Process Optimization & Growth Strategy

  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for project execution, improving internal workflows.
  • Implement project tracking tools to enhance visibility into orders, deliveries, and key milestones.
  • Identify opportunities for vendor and product expansion, supporting the business in growing its power equipment offerings.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide training and mentorship to project managers and coordinators.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Logistics, and Procurement teams.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, procurement, or supply chain management in the power equipment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of power equipment and procurement is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operations teams.
  • Experience negotiating with vendors and ensuring contract compliance.
  • Strong knowledge Project Management Software (ex: smart sheets)

Western Regional Sales Manager

The Western Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales of AWG wire and cable products, developing markets and maintaining relationships with existing client base as well as tracking new sales opportunities and first information on projects with owners and operators of utilities, power generation, engineering firms, contractors, specifically serving the electrical utility market within the geographic region of California, Nevada, and Arizona of the United States.

 

Core Responsibilities

Commercial (Sales, Marketing):

  • Develop and close sales opportunities through network of Manufacturers Reps
  • Provide access to key decision makers at customers.
  • Provide details and participate on key projects bid process.
  • Track to participate in Utility Master Material Agreement RFQ events (Blankets).
  • Maintain relationships with key customers and utilize CRM within AWG system.
  • Travel for customer meetings throughout the region.
  • Facilitate meetings with customer and AWG management.
  • Conduct sales and training presentations to customers.

Technical:

  • Provide Technical information to customers for AWG vendor approval.
  • When necessary, attend Prebid meetings, visit job sites and customer test centers.
  • Initiate Non-Conformance process to investigate product complaints and forward answer/results/solution back to the customer.
  • General knowledge of construction methods relating to wire and cable

Business:

  • Understand Contract language.
  • Good understanding to provide market intelligence on competition, regional pricing, and margin levels for successful quotation submittals.
  • Participate in development of Utility Sales Plan for the annual Sales meeting.
  • Responsible management of expenses.
  • Maintain awareness of AWG goals.
  • Successful completion of on-the-job training to use AWG’s Microsoft D365 business application to generate customer quotes and sales orders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF) as required to prepare reports and presentations

 

Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 3 + years-combined sales, business development, marketing experience in cable industry or electrical engineering a definite asset.
  • Selling to electrical utilities a definite asset
  •  Able to work independently and a team player with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong PC skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Good Listener.
  • Self-Starter.
